Mr. Shaukat Umar Pirzada, a former judge of the Lahore High Court, is the founder and Senior Partner at Pirzada Law Associates. He did his B.A. and M.A. (Economics) from the University of Punjab, Lahore, in 1971 and 1973, respectively, while he received his LL.B. degree from Punjab University Law College, Lahore, in 1975. Mr. Pirzada was enrolled as an Advocate in 1977, as an Advocate of High Court in 1980 and as an Advocate of the Supreme Court in 1995. He was elected as Secretary of the Lahore Bar Association in 1982 and Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan in 2008 and has served as a Member of the Executive Committee of the Lahore High Court Bar Association in 1982, 1990, 1992, 1994 and 2003. Mr. Pirzada is also on the panel of Adjudicators of the Pakistan Cricket Board since 2016.

Mr. Pirzada has more than forty (40) years of experience in the field of law. His expertise lies in the fields of civil, constitutional, banking, commercial, contract, transactional, energy/power, alternate dispute resolution, property, real estate, labour laws, and family laws as well as litigation.

Mr. Shujaat Umar Pirzada is a Partner at Pirzada Law Associates. He completed his B.A.-LL.B. from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, in 2013 and his LL.M. (Finance & Law) from Duisenberg School of Finance, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 2014. He was enrolled as an Advocate in 2014 and as an Advocate High Court in 2015. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK) and an Associate of Prime Dispute. He has also served as the Chairman, Constitution Review Committee, of the Lahore Tax Bar Association in 2025-2026, Secretary, Tax Academy, of the Lahore Tax Bar Association in 2021-2022, and as Member, Advisory Committee on Environmental Policy, Environment Protection Department, Punjab, since 2015.

His areas of expertise include constitutional, administrative, banking, civil, corporate, commercial, contracts, transactional, energy/power, alternate dispute resolution, real estate, due diligences, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, consumer protection, and family laws and litigation.

Muhammad Asad Khan

Mr. Muhammad Asad Khan did his LL.B. (Honours) in 2021 from the University of London International Programmes. He was enrolled as an Advocate in 2022 and as an Advocate of High Court in 2024. Mr. Khan is a Chartered Engineer who has also done M.Sc. in Applied Environmental Science (2002) and MBA (2000) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has also served as a Marine Engineer Class 1 in the Merchant Navy, Government of Pakistan.

Before joining Pirzada Law Associates, Mr. Khan worked in the power sector with various national and multinational companies at leadership positions and has a comprehensive understanding of the corporate and energy/power sectors in the country. His areas of expertise include banking, corporate, commercial, contracts, transactional, energy/power, consumer protection, and family laws and litigation.
